Critical Mass is a futuristic game where you take on the role of a squadron commander piloting spaceships. Throughout the game, players are tasked with various missions including safeguarding convoys, launching assaults on enemy starbases, and protecting Earth.
Combat in Critical Mass involves utilizing six distinct missile types that automatically target the closest enemy. It requires strategic precision to avoid accidentally hitting allied vessels amidst the chaos of battle.
The gameplay is turn-based, however, the intensity escalates swiftly with missiles tailing your ship, adversaries maneuvering dynamically, and warning alarms blaring, rendering each moment in the game seamlessly action-packed.
